My name is Jason Sarver, and I have over 1000 hours of training in massage therapy, I am a Sports Massage Specialist, certified by Stark State College. I am Licensed by the State of Ohio medical board and am a proud member of the AMTA.
My office is located in the Wallhaven neighborhood, here in good ole Akron, Ohio. The Iconic UFCW building is unmistakable and easy to find, and with a ramp leading right to my door, my office is easily accessible. You can rest assured that you are in the best hands when you schedule with me.
People seek massage for a variety of reasons
Although some people prefer to talk throughout the massage, don't feel like you have to make conversation. Many people close their eyes and try to relax. I take my cue from you.
Deep tissue massage and sports massage are some of the types of massage that require more feedback. The massage therapist often works on deeper layers of muscle and will want to ensure that the pressure is comfortable.
Be sure to speak up during a massage if you:
Typically, I will ask you to undress to your level of comfort. Many people prefer to keep their underwear on during a massage, while others prefer to be nude. It's up to you. Women usually remove their bras to allow me to work on the back and shoulder area without getting massage oil or lotion on the bra.
Because one of the goals of massage is to help the client relax, falling asleep can be a huge compliment to your therapist.
Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated!
Due to Covid-19, please arrive for your massage appointment no sooner than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows time to sanitize the office between appointments.
If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No full or partial refunds will be given.
I treat all client visits and conditions as confidential. As such, I will not discuss your visit with anybody outside of my staff without your express written permission, unless ordered to by a court of law. NO POLITICS PLEASE
Because massage increases circulation and often includes movement of joints through their normal range of motion, it is the responsibility of the client to keep me informed of any current medical treatment, and, if contraindications exist, to provide written permission from your physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that massage may be continued.
The client must also keep me informed of any changes in health conditions.
I am happy to adjust pressure, work longer on any area or move on if you request it.
You may choose to refuse any massage methods, and may stop the massage at any time.
